Pinpoint Privacy Agreement
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice sets out the basis for how personal information collected from you, or that you provide to Girls on the Run through Pinpoint, will be collected, used, and maintained in connection with the recruitment processes.
Girls on the Run utilizes Pinpoint, an online software product provided by The Infuse Group Ltd (t/a Pinpoint Software), to assist with recruitments. Pinpoint processes personal information as a service provider on behalf and is only entitled to process your personal information in accordance with our instructions and may not sell or share this information for any purpose.
If you apply for job opening posted through this website, these Privacy Notice provisions will apply to the processing of your personal information, in addition to other information on the Privacy Page of our website.
Personal Information
Through Pinpoint, some or all of the following types of information may be collected from you:
- Information that you provide when you apply for a role. This includes information provided through an online application, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method.
- Personal details such as name, email address, address, qualifications, experience and any information relating to employment history, skills, and experience.
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- Details of visits to our career websites including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, and other communication data, the site that linked you to our careers website and the resources that you access.
- If you choose to provide optional demographic or equal opportunity information (e.g., race, gender, veteran status, disability status), we use it only for compliance with employment laws and internal reporting, not hiring decisions.
The data collected and processed using Pinpoint’s Services will be transferred to and stored at one of Pinpoint’s datacenter locations in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and may be synchronized to one of several Pinpoint datacenter locations in London (United Kingdom) for backup and redundancy purposes. Pinpoint maintains appropriate safeguards and contractual obligations to protect applicant information consistent with U.S. data protection expectations.
Please note that all candidate data will be kept at least one year after the completion of the recruitment process, or longer as required by applicable employment laws.
Basis for Processing
Girls on the Run uses business purposes as the lawful basis on which personal data is collected and used, with legitimate interest as the recruitment of employees.
We use personal information about candidates in the following ways:
- To consider the application in respect of the role to which they applied.
- To consider the application in respect of other roles.
- To communicate with candidates in respect of the recruitment process.
- To enhance any information that we receive from you with information provided by you, linked to third party data providers.
- To find appropriate candidates to fill job openings.
- To help Pinpoint improve their services.
Security
Girls on the Run takes appropriate measures to ensure that all personal data is kept secure including security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost or used or accessed in any unauthorized way. Access to personal data is limited to those who have a genuine business need to view it and those processing personal information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
While Girls on the Run and Pinpoint will take appropriate measures to protect candidate personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through any online means, therefore any transmission remains at your own risk.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
While Girls on the Run and Pinpoint will take appropriate measures to protect candidate personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through any online means, therefore any transmission remains at your own risk.
Your Privacy Rights
Some states provide residents with additional rights regarding personal information, such as the right to request access to or deletion of that information. You can contact Girls on the Run at humanresources@girlsontherun.org to make a request or ask questions about your information. Your identity will be verified before responding and Girls on the Run will not discriminate against any candidate for making a request.
